Memory Lane

A Memoir by Lucille Dickinson Ainsworth and Joan Ainsworth Reeves
Born during the Roaring Twenties, Lucille Dickinson Ainsworth lived a glorious childhood unmarked by the Great Depression. She entered school during the Golden years of the 1930's when the United States was rebounding economically, but the countries on the far side of the world were already fighting for their surival from the Nazi menace. World War II was the backdrop of her teen years.

Through it all, she lived a happy life, influenced by the events of her time, but untouched by what many today consider privation and trying times.

Memory Lane, My Sentimental Journey, has much to offer her generation who also lived through those challenging times of upheaval and sacrifice. This memoir shows younger generations that children, whether they have little or plenty, always know how to be happy, as long as they are loved.
